New Patients

Schedule a Meet and Greet!

Before becoming a patient, I recommend you to schedule a Meet & Greet—either virtually or in person. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide if I am good fit for you.

To help you determine whether my practice aligns with your expectations, here are some important features about my style and scope of practice.

  • I focus on diagnostic evaluation, medical management, and care coordination. I do not perform in-office procedures. You will be referred to a trusted community partner when procedures are necessary.

  • I avoid unnecessary use of antibiotics to protect your microbiome and protect you from antibiotic resistant infections.

  • I do not prescribe medications with addictive potential for long term use (except for end-of-life care). Examples of such medications are benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, Clonazepam) for anxiety, opioids (Norco, hydrocodone, oxycodone, Percocet, Dilaudid) for pain, stimulants (Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Dexadrine) for ADHD, and some muscle relaxants (Soma). I do prescribe these medicines, when necessary, for short-term use (typically a 1 week duration).

  • I do not prescribe testosterone replacement therapy. Interested patients will be referred to community partners.

  • For hair loss, I prescribe topical treatments only. Patients interested in oral treatments will be referred to a community partner.

  • I do not perform sensitive examinations (such as breast, genital, or rectal exams) in this setting. When a sensitive exam is necessary, you will be referred to a trusted community partner where the necessary support staff are present.

  • To ensure the highest quality of care, telemedicine is limited to no more than 20% of visits.

  • I am unable to accept new patients seeking workers’ compensation or disability evaluations.

Please also note that my practice does not provide urgent care, emergency services, hospitalization, or after-hours on-call coverage.
